3 small filing table top filing cabinets from the early 20th century. Each have 4 drawers, and can be stacked into a tower. They are well made. Constructed of thin pine, the main surfaces are covered with a fine woven oilcloth which has a defined textured surface. The 4 drawers of each unit are neatly finished with hard wearing paper. Original brass handles are marked 'Advance'

Early walnut furniture glows at Christmas time! This William and Mary period bureau bookcase is exquisitely proportioned for any house. It is made in 2 sections. The bookcase, with 3 adjustable shelves, has bevelled glazed doors with decorative arched tops. Below is a classic bureau. The fall front, with mirror veneers and inlaid feather banding, opens to reveal a fitted interior and a faux leather writing surface. A sliding panel opens onto a "well", a slightly hidden storage space. Most of the brassware is probably 1930's vintage, but the fall escutheon and hinges are original. The bun feet are excellent replacements. This period of cabinet making was all about the decorative beauty of the wood itself, and this piece is a fine example.
A rare small table Cabinet/Box from the early 18th century. Made of oak, it has an upper compartment with a door, over a single moulded fronted drawer. The door has its original iron butterfly hinges and wooden catch. The brass handles are also probably original. In fine condition, this cabinet has always held precious items, and in turn has been cared for. Circa 1730
This is a fabulous French Empire Antique Mahogany Glazed Vitrine. Has a beautiful white marble top with brass galleried rail, glazed panels to each side, glazed central door with reeded columns each side with brass infills. Also has brass banding to the glass panels, each of the four shelves and all four feet are tipped with brass ends. The rear is stamped and labelled 'Hopilliart & Leroy, 12et 16 Ruedes sts Peres a Paris. Famous French cabinet makers. The Vitrine measures 58.75" inches tall x 24" inches wide x 12.5" inches deep. Condition is very good, no damage or restoration just normal wear as you would expect consistent with age and use. A mid 20th century Globe Drinks Cabinet in fine condition. The 50cm globe opens to reveal an interior fitted out for bottles, glasses and ice. The bar revolves fully. The globe is papered with a copy of a 1578 Italian map, beautifully hand drawn. The interior of the lid is a brilliance of Classical scenes. The fine quality wooden turned stand gives this cabinet a rich antique appearance. The Globe and platform are made of an early plastic with a black and gold brushed finish. Missing only the inner liner for the ice bucket, this Globe Cabinet is in lovely, gently aged condition.Circa 1960
A stunning C18th Continental Goncalo Alves & walnut cabinet on stand, the upper part fitted 2 doors, beneath a stepped pediment fitted 1 long drawer opening to reveal an interior of fitted drawers around a central lockable cupboard with further drawers. There is also a secret compartment hidden away within the cabinet. The stand is fitted with one long drawer & supported on turned barley twist legs, stretcher & standing on ball feet.
A 17th Century Walnut, oyster Olivewood and marquetry cabinet on stand. The interior with an arrangement of moulded drawers around a central door revealing further small drawers, the inside of the principal doors with large panels of floral marquetry and decorated brass locks and bolts, the later stand fitted with three drawers, on spiral legs with stretchers.

This is a stunning and rare Antique Victorian Mahogany Twin Pedestal Fall Front Desk with raised cabinet section enclosing adjustable shelves, four small drawers with pen box and fall front leather topped writing surface with Chubb Locks. The locking system on this desk is quite unique and rare. The single lock when closed fully locks the whole desk so all the lower drawers, the side cupboards and the fall front are all locked. The whole pieces is made from superb quality Mahogany including all the drawer linings and has an inlay with the initials CL or LC and dated 1878. Measurements are as follows; 57" inches widest x 29" inches deepest x 56.25" inches highest. Desk height is 30" inches. Raised section measures 26.5" inches from the desk x 12.75" inches deep. The fall front writing surface measures 27" inches wide x 22" inches deep. Overall condition is very good and original. Shows no signs of restoration or non original parts. Has usual wear and tear commensurate with age and use. Very clean and ready to use. Top section lifts off and the top unscrews from the twin pedestals thus making it easy to transport and install.
