A good quality country made Chest of Drawers in Ashwood. These ashwood chests were often from the Herefordshire - Welsh Border Area, where ashwood is plentiful. It has two short drawers above three long graduated drawers. It also has its original wooden knobs and is sat on bracket feet. circa 1830/40.
